Welcome to the Goodland Academy Website. This website is intended to provide you with an overview of our school, as well as contact information. Also, for current families, the website offers a wealth of information, such as monthly newsletters, the school calendar, weekend activity schedule and school forms. However, in order to get a true feel for what our school is all about, you really must visit the campus. A guided tour will enable you to see first-hand our outstanding students being taught by extraordinarily dedicated and talented teachers. Additionally, you will see these children and their teachers engaging each other in the learning process with excitement, enthusiasm, and enjoyment.
Goodland Academy has a proud tradition of providing an outstanding education for its students. Since becoming an early mission and school in 1848, students today contine to be educated in a self-paced individualized educational environment with the goal of excellence.
Goodland Academy is very demanding of its students. They must study hard, participate in numerous extra-curricular and co-curricular activities, and maintain high standards of behavior.
Goodland Academy actively involves parents in the educational process. Parents are invited to be full partners in educating their children by attending conferences with teachers, participating in parent organization activities, and supporting the activities involving their children. The result is a dynamic environment where teachers and parents work in concert to provide opportunities for children to explore, learn, mature, and develop a sense of who they are and what they want to accomplish.
