Location: Goodland is located in rural southeastern Oklahoma 4 miles north of the Red River, 25 miles north of Paris, Texas, 48 miles east of Durant, Oklahoma, 47 miles west of Idabel, Oklahoma and 60 miles south of McAlester, Oklahoma.
School: Goodland is a year-round K-12 individualized self-paced education program for both day and residential students regardless of socio-economic status.
Enrollment: Goodland enrolls approximately 48 students with 24 of those students from the residential program.
Cost: Goodland charges moderate tuition and residential fees. Financial aid is determined on an individual basis.
Students: Goodland accepts students into our program from first grade to sixth grade. Those accepted into the program may remain until graduation. Students generally come from various racial and ethnic backgrounds, but because of our historic relationship with native americans preference is given to those of native american descent.
Support: Goodland is supported by tuition and residential fees, as well as, gifts from individuals, churches, businesses, corporations, and endowment funds.
Founding: Goodland was founded by early Presbyterian missionaries in 1848 and maintains covenant relationship with the PCUSA to this day. Goodland is governed by a self-appointing board of trustees from various states.
Campus: Goodland sits on a beautiful, rural 390-acre campus with three homes; four staff houses; a student center with a cafeteria, performance area and game room; a gymnasium; a main classroom building; and support buildings.
